Time to Register for Guided by Kids 2018/2019!

If you will be in grades 5-8 in the 2018/2019 school year and want to learn speech and debate skills, Guided by Kids is for you! You will also plan and work on a project you choose to improve your community.

Last year we competed at three Omaha middle school speech and debate tournaments, and we plan on doing more this year as opportunities to compete in middle school speech and debate expand in Omaha.

Students who were part of Guided by Kids last year are welcome to re-apply if you are still in grades 5-8, and of course we want more new members!

Just go to the Application Page and follow the instructions. If you have questions about applying, contact Fred Robertson, the director of Guided by Kids. We will accept applications throughout the month of August, with a final deadline of September 7. Classes will begin on Thursday evening, September 20 at the Kroc Center, 2825 Y St, Omaha, NE 68107.
