Retired teacher/debate coach; National Speech and Debate Association (formerly National Forensic League) Hall of Fame member; finished career by coaching four consecutive state champion debate teams at Millard West; founder and director of the Nebraska Debate Institute, providing educational opportunities for high school debate students 2004-2021. He works as an assistant debate coach at Omaha Marian and judges debate tournaments during the competitive season in Nebraska.

Former Lincoln-Douglas debater and extemporaneous speaker at Fremont High School; speech/debate judge since then for various programs; works at Genesys Innovations as a Health Care Entrepreneur.
A University of Nebraska at Omaha graduate, Jackie is the Co-Founder and President of non profit organization 'LIVE Leadership Camp', a Latina youth camp for 7th-9th grade girls in Omaha and surrounding communities. Currently she works as a Marketing Events Supervisor at North America's largest retailer, Nebraska Furniture Mart and is pursuing her MBA at Bellevue University.
Payton is a 2017 graduate of UNO with a major in Criminal Justice and co-minors in Political Science and English. She was the Nebraska State Champion in Lincoln-Douglas debate in 2012 and was also an NFL and NCFL national qualifier. Each team Payton competed on at Millard West was a state championship debate team. Payton worked as a debate judge and assistant debate coach at Millard West while taking classes full time., and also was a staff member at the Nebraska Debate Institute.. Payton is the Director of Domestic Violence Services of Catholic Charities of Omaha.
