Class this Thursday: Celebrate A Successful First Half of the Year!

This Thursday, December 20, we celebrate our successful community service project distributing winter clothing for those in need at Gene Leahy Mall. Mr. Robertson will provide pizza, and while we have a little food, we will also officially become a chapter of Secret Agents of Kindness by choosing our Secret Agent names and deciding how to report back on our individual helpful actions as agents, when we next meet in 2019.

Students who need to finish up their final performance of the inspiration speech will also speak, and a couple model persuasive speeches will be shown so that students know expectations for their next speech.

We are ready to end 2018 Guided by Kids and move into the 2019 part of our year, when our students will compete in metro area middle school speech and debate tournaments, and host a debate tournament at the Kroc Center in May of 2019!
