New Intern Helping GBK--Last Class Recap

The title says most of what needs to be said. We need to prepare for speech tournament competition in the spring, and having an effective persuasive speech is an important step in that direction. Also, be sure to be ready to report on any Secret Kindness Agent activity! See you Thursday night, January 24, at 6 at the Kroc Center!

Back to Class Thursday, January 10

Students should come to class for our first meeting on 2019 with their rough draft of a persuasive speech, as well as a "Secret Act of Kindness" to share with the other agents. Mr. Robertson will also let everyone know about the speech and debate schedule we will have, starting in April of 2019, which will include a middle school debate tournament hosted by the Kroc Center on Saturday morning, May 11, 2019! Finally, we will discuss three possible topics proposed for debate at tournaments at Elkhorn Valley View Middle School, and at our tournament, since our team will get a vote, along with other middle school debate teams, on the resolution.
