Seeking Students for 2025 for Guided by Kids!

We have one returning student from last year but so far no one is taking us up on the opportunity to learn important critical thinking skills by practicing and competing in debate this year. There are middle school tournaments in Omaha in April and May which we prepare for each year. The students have a great time, make new friends, and get a wonderful educational experience.

Payton Evans and I would love to work with your current 5th-8th grade student in the Omaha metro area, and our classes are completely free of charge! Payton is a former state champion and I am a retired coach with 40 years of experience, but most importantly, we love working with young people to help them become more confident and capable citizens who understand why it is important to research and be able to speak about both sides of current issues.

We have extended registration one more time and plan to start classes (which meet Tuesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. at Omaha Marian High School) on Tuesday, January 28. Hope you will consider completing a student registration at our website at www.guidedbykids.org and joining us at the end of this month.
